Book: Genesis

We all like the idea of God leading us—until His direction crosses our plans. We want His blessing, His protection, His provision, and His peace, but the real question is whether we are willing to live under His authority. This week, from Genesis 2:7–17, we are going back to the beginning to see what life was designed to look like before sin distorted everything. And the question I want us to wrestle with is simple: Does God truly have the right to tell me how to live?

Our pastor continues our series on “The Praying Church.” Can we truly say we trust God while still refusing to surrender to God what we love most? Only a command, a mountain and a father forced to decide whether he trusted the giver more than he treasured the gift.
